Competence of the Department: implementation of the state policy in financial sector activity and financial support for organizations of the Ministry of Justice and the courts.

Department makes up budget forecasts for the next fiscal (financial) year; conducts comprehensive and timely analysis of financial and economic activity; develops measures aimed at rational and economical use of material, labor and financial resources in the Ministry; conducts the questions of remuneration of labour; maintains accounting; prepares financial and statistical reports; resolves issues of capital construction, repair of buildings and structures; monitors the safety of the state property in the system; performs control and audit work; prepares draft legal acts on matters within the competence of the Department.

Department engaged in financial provision of the central office of the Ministry, Republican labor arbitration, 149 courts, 219 state notary’s offices, 7 departmental notarial archives. All bodies and organizations of the Ministry are budgetary.
